Eve Jaremka

PROGRAM:

The Sunday Service (fornightly Sunday 4-6pm)

WHERE IS ‘HOME’?

Coffs Harbour (and Bellingen as an honorary resident 😉

HOW DID YOU COME TO BE LIVING IN THIS AREA?

Two years ago I hit exhaustion point after working in the news media in London for a decade and visited my mum here for a short break. Fell in love with the region and community and that was it.

WHAT DOES YOUR PROGRAM OFFER TO LISTENERS?

Business-themed interviews, podcast reviews and topical chat with soul. (Literally – the music breaks are soul and nu-soul, hip-hop and vintage disco.)

WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN TRIPLE B?

Always dreamt of doing radio. I’ve done a bit of DJ-ing in the past so was already a music nerd. But my favourite aspect of media and PR work is interviewing and I wanted the chance to do that on air. It’s important to me to be part of giving the talented, entrepreneurial people in this region a platform to talk about what they do and why. Also, Debbie Spillane!

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT ON AIR AT TRIPLE B?

I run my own PR and communications business in Coffs. I work with talented clients (corporates, festivals, charities) and articulate what they do to a broader audience and the media. I also hang out with my wonderful mates locally and swim, cook and dance a lot.

IF YOU WERE TO STAGE YOUR OWN FESTIVAL IN BELLO, AND COULD HAVE ANY THREE HEADLINE ACTS WHO WOULD THEY BE?

I assume this can be post-humous… Prince, Amy Winehouse and a back-to-back DJ set by Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan.
