PROGRAM:

The Messenger of Love (Sunday 9-11am)

WHERE IS ‘HOME’?

Valla Beach.

HOW DID YOU COME TO BE LIVING IN THIS AREA?

I’m a wandering poet, a wild bird who landed in Valla Beach 2004, found it to be beautiful so here I stayed.

WHAT DOES YOUR PROGRAM OFFER TO LISTENERS?

It’s a program of Sufi music and poetry topped up with the great music from around the world, all with messages of love to nurture hearts and feed the One Soul.

WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED AT TRIPLE B?

I came to the station with a program called Moods and Melodies when I first landed on the Mid North Coast, considered it a good way to assimilate and contribute to the community. That was back in the Rod Kirk era (may he RIP)

He was The Mr. Cool of the airwaves out of Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT ON AIR AT TRIPLE B?

I am researching for my program, cleaning, watering the garden, enjoying Facebook friends, walking the bush and the beach with Lily, my Labrador Boss,

meditating with my Tree friend, connecting with strangers who happen along,

living in awe of our exquisite environment. And, at her whim, attend the Muse as Her Scribe to write Poetry.

IF YOU WERE TO STAGE YOUR OWN FESTIVAL IN BELLO, AND COULD HAVE ANY THREE HEADLINE ACTS WHO WOULD THEY BE?

I would consult my fellow presenters, although I kinda like Pink, she’d be enough for all three. But if we couldn’t get Pink I reckon Valla’d would shape up for the occasion? Anything’s possible!
